The staff of OHSO recently organized a successful outreach program at Cherubims School, targeting both the Primary and Nursery sections. The primary objective of
this initiative was to provide oral health education to students and teachers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth and preventing oral diseases.
Promoting Oral Health:
During the outreach, HSO staff members demonstrated the proper technique for tooth brushing, ensuring that everyone understood the importance of this daily practice.
They discussed the potential consequences of poor oral health, with a particular focus on dental caries and periodontal diseases.
Importance of Healthy Teeth:
One of the main highlights of the program was reminding the audience about the crucial role teeth play in our daily lives. The ability to cut and chew food,
clear pronunciation of words, and the aesthetic and social aspects of having a healthy smile were emphasized. The staff also shared stories from individuals
who had missed out on their daily activities, such as attending school, due to dental pain.
Raising Awareness:
This outreach served as an eye-opener for many, especially the teachers, who realized that they had not been brushing their teeth properly.
It created a platform for reflection and encouraged individuals to prioritize their oral health.
Distribution of Oral Hygiene Materials:
In addition to the educational sessions, OHSO distributed oral hygiene materials, including toothbrushes and toothpaste, to all the students,
teachers, and supporting staff. This gesture was met with gratitude and appreciation from the recipients.

The activities were carried out smoothly, fostering a friendly atmosphere where children, teachers, and other beneficiaries felt
