We emphasized that these oral diseases can sometimes lead to serious health issues, including death.

OHSO Member Visit to GS Kabuga Nursery School for Dental Care Education – 25 Sept 2024

On 25th September 2024, OHSO members visited GS Kabuga Nursery School to educate parents on how to care for the teeth of their children. This visit was organized in partnership with GS Kabuga and CHEMICOTED, which provided toothpaste and toothbrushes for the children.

During the session, we addressed 124 parents of nursery school children at GS Kabuga. We distributed toothpaste and toothbrushes, instructing parents on how to help their children, particularly those under six years old, clean their teeth effectively. We advised them that children at this age often need assistance with brushing, as they may not be able to clean their teeth properly on their own.

In addition to teaching proper oral hygiene, we also emphasized the importance of parents regularly checking for any other potential oral health problems in their children's mouths.

This dental care education session was successfully conducted on 25th September 2024.
